Description
The MV-ACXP6-DIN(up)-DIN-HF-8m from HIKROBOT is a high-flex CXP-6 data cable for drag chains. It transmits the data of industrial cameras with a CoaXPress interface. End A has a straight DIN 1.0/2.3 connector, end B an angled one. At 8 m it is the second-longest version of the series.
Technical data
The coaxial cable is 8 m long, has a diameter of 5 mm and a black PVC jacket. The minimum bending radius is 60 mm; for U-shaped bending HIKROBOT specifies up to 2 million cycles. The connectors are rated for 500 mating cycles; the maximum voltage is 300 VDC. HIKROBOT lists RoHS and UL as certifications; each cable is individually packaged.
Operating conditions
The permissible operating temperature is between -30 °C and 80 °C. In the drag chain a bending radius of at least 60 mm must be maintained.
Applications and selection
At 8 m the cable is long enough for longer travel paths or a control cabinet next to the machine; excess length belongs in the fixed part of the routing, not in the chain. The angled connector saves space behind the port because the cable does not exit in the mating direction. The number of bending cycles is limited, so on axes with a high cycle rate the cable should be listed in the maintenance schedule as a wear part.
