Description
The MV-ACXP12-HDBNC(up)-HDBNC-HF-3m data cable from HIKROBOT connects a camera with a CoaXPress interface of the CXP-12 class to a frame grabber. It is 3 m long, built as a high-flex cable for drag chains, and has an HD-BNC connector at end A and an angled HD-BNC connector at end B.
Technical data
The coaxial cable has a diameter of 5 mm and a black PVC jacket. The connectors are rated for 500 mating cycles. HIKROBOT lists RoHS as the certification. Each cable is supplied individually packaged.
Operating conditions
In the drag chain it is rated for up to 2 million U-type bending cycles. The minimum bending radius is 60 mm, and the maximum permissible voltage is 300 VDC. The permissible working temperature is -20 °C to 80 °C.
Applications and selection
At 3 m, this is the shortest version of the MV-ACXP12-HDBNC(up)-HDBNC-HF series, which comes in 3, 4 and 10 m. It fits when camera and frame grabber sit close together and the drag chain travels only a short distance, because part of the length runs inside the chain. The angled connector routes the cable sideways right at the socket and saves space behind the device. The bending radius sets the limit: the drag chain must not bend the cable tighter than 60 mm either. Without an angled connector, the MV-ACXP12-HDBNC-HDBNC-HF series is available. A counterpart with HD-BNC ports for CXP-12 is the HIKROBOT MV-GY1004 frame grabber.
