Description
The MV-ACXP6-DIN(up)-DIN-HF-10m data cable from HIKROBOT is, at 10 m, the longest version of its series. It transmits the data of industrial cameras with a CoaXPress interface and, as a high-flex CXP-6 data cable, is designed for drag chains. End A has a straight DIN 1.0/2.3 connector, end B an angled one.
Technical data
The coaxial cable is 10 m long and has a black PVC jacket. The minimum bending radius is 60 mm; for U-shaped bending HIKROBOT specifies up to 2 million cycles. The connectors are rated for 500 mating cycles; the maximum voltage is 300 VDC. HIKROBOT lists RoHS and UL as certifications. Each cable is individually packaged.
Operating conditions
The permissible operating temperature ranges from -30 °C to 80 °C. The minimum bending radius of 60 mm also applies at the deflection of the drag chain.
Applications and selection
At 10 m the cable suits long travel paths, for example on gantry axes, or a control cabinet away from the machine; excess length belongs in the fixed part of the routing, not in the chain. Because the cable does not exit in the mating direction at the angled connector, it needs less space behind the port. The number of bending cycles is limited, so on axes with a high cycle rate the cable belongs in the maintenance schedule as a wear part.
