Description
The HIKROBOT MV-ACC-mFM-mFM-ST-5m XoCLink data cable is a coaxial cable in the standard version with a length of 5 m and Mini-FAKRA connectors at both ends. HIKROBOT specifies it for CT series XoCLink area scan cameras. It is the longest version in the series with the thinner cable diameter of 2.8 mm.
Technical data
Both ends have Z-coded Mini-FAKRA connectors. The diameter is 2.8 mm ± 0.2 mm, and the minimum bending radius is 33.6 mm. The black jacket is made of PVC. The maximum voltage is 60 VDC. According to HIKROBOT, the cable is RoHS compliant; it ships individually packaged.
Operating conditions
The operating temperature range is -20 °C to 80 °C. According to HIKROBOT, the cable is intended for static applications, meaning a fixed installation.
Applications and selection
Moving installation in drag chains or on robot axes is outside this scope. The MV-ACC-mFM-mFM-ST series comes in 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15 m. With 5 m, the camera and the device at the other end can be placed on different sides of an inspection station, for example. If you need more than 5 m, move to the versions from 7 m; these are thicker and need a larger bending radius, which has to be taken into account in narrow cable ducts and feedthroughs.
