Description
The HIKROBOT MV-ACC-mFM-mFM-ST-1m XoCLink data cable is a coaxial cable in the standard version with Mini-FAKRA connectors at both ends. HIKROBOT specifies it for CT series XoCLink area scan cameras. At 1 m it is the shortest version in the series and fits where the camera and the device at the other end sit close together, for example in a compact inspection cell.
Technical data
Both connectors are of the Mini-FAKRA type with Z coding. The cable is 1 m long and has a diameter of 2.8 mm ± 0.2 mm; the jacket is black PVC. The minimum bending radius is 33.6 mm, and the maximum voltage is 60 VDC. According to HIKROBOT, the cable is RoHS compliant, and it ships individually packaged.
Operating conditions
The permissible operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to 80 °C. HIKROBOT specifies static applications as the scope: the cable is installed in a fixed position and does not move during operation.
Applications and selection
This standard version is not intended for drag chains, robot arms or other moving assemblies. The MV-ACC-mFM-mFM-ST series comes in 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15 m. The 3 and 5 m versions have the same diameter as this cable; from 7 m the cable is thicker and needs a larger bending radius. In tight installation spaces the short length helps because no excess cable has to be stowed in loops; the cable still needs its 33.6 mm bending radius.
