Description
The MV-ACXP6-DIN(up)-DIN-HF-1.5m data cable from HIKROBOT transmits the data of industrial cameras with a CoaXPress interface. As a high-flex CXP-6 data cable it is designed for drag chains, in which it follows a moving camera. End A has a straight DIN 1.0/2.3 connector, end B an angled one. At 1.5 m it is the shortest version of the series.
Technical data
The coaxial cable is 1.5 m long, has a diameter of 5 mm and a black PVC jacket. The minimum bending radius is 60 mm; for U-shaped bending HIKROBOT specifies up to 2 million cycles. The connectors are rated for 500 mating cycles; the maximum voltage is 300 VDC. HIKROBOT lists RoHS and UL as certifications. Each cable is individually packaged.
Operating conditions
The permissible operating temperature ranges from -30 °C to 80 °C. The bending radius of the drag chain must not be less than 60 mm.
Applications and selection
With the angled connector the cable does not exit in the mating direction, which saves space behind the port. The 1.5 m version fits short runs where the PC or the control cabinet sits directly at the axis; the length must still reach both end positions of the axis. The number of bending cycles is limited, so on axes with a high cycle rate the cable belongs in the maintenance schedule as a wear part.
