Description
The MV-ACXP6-DIN(up)-DIN-HF-5m data cable from HIKROBOT is intended for industrial cameras with a CoaXPress interface that travel on an axis: a high-flex CXP-6 data cable for drag chains. It has a straight DIN 1.0/2.3 connector at end A and an angled one at end B. At 5 m it sits in the middle of the series.
Technical data
The coaxial cable is 5 m long and has a diameter of 5 mm; its jacket is black PVC. HIKROBOT specifies a minimum bending radius of 60 mm and up to 2 million U-shaped bending cycles. The connectors are rated for 500 mating cycles; the maximum voltage is 300 VDC. HIKROBOT states RoHS and UL as certifications. Each cable is individually packaged.
Operating conditions
The permissible operating temperature is -30 °C to 80 °C. The drag chain must deflect the cable at a radius of at least 60 mm.
Applications and selection
The angled version fits when there is no room behind the port for a straight exit. At 5 m the cable covers runs within a machine when the chain travels a longer stroke or the control cabinet is not located directly at the axis. The number of bending cycles is limited, so on axes with a high cycle rate the cable belongs in the maintenance schedule as a wear part.
