Description
The MV-ACXP6-DIN(up)-DIN-HF-3m cable from HIKROBOT is a high-flex CXP-6 data cable for industrial cameras with a CoaXPress interface. It is designed for drag chains and moves along when the camera travels on an axis. End A has a straight DIN 1.0/2.3 connector, end B an angled one. At 3 m it is the second-shortest version of the series.
Technical data
The coaxial cable measures 3 m in length and 5 mm in diameter; the jacket is black PVC. The bending radius must not fall below 60 mm; HIKROBOT specifies up to 2 million U-shaped bending cycles. The connectors are rated for 500 mating cycles, the cable for a maximum voltage of 300 VDC. HIKROBOT lists RoHS and UL as certifications; each cable is packaged individually.
Operating conditions
The cable may be operated at temperatures from -30 °C to 80 °C. The bending radius of the drag chain must be at least 60 mm.
Applications and selection
At 3 m the cable is long enough for short axes where the control cabinet sits on the machine. The angled connector helps when there is no room behind the port for a straight exit. The number of bending cycles is limited, so on axes with a high cycle rate the cable should be planned as a wear part. The MV-ACXP6-DIN(up)-DIN-HF series comes in 1.5 m, 3 m, 5 m, 8 m and 10 m.
