Spot light MV-LDSS-H-8-3-W

The MV-LDSS-H-8-3-W spot light from HIKROBOT is a spot light in white with an 8 mm light outlet. It concentrates the light on a small spot and illuminates details of a few millimeters in a directed way, such as solder joints, SMD components, bores, engravings or small assemblies under macro and telecentric lenses.

Technical data

The working distance ranges from 65 mm to 200 mm; at 100 mm the light reaches more than 20,000 lux at the center. The white light has a color temperature of 6000 K to 7000 K. Power consumption is 2 W, the connection is an SMR-03V-B connector on a 1 m cable. The cylindrical housing is 59 mm long with a diameter of 24 mm and weighs 75 g.

Operating conditions

The permissible range is 0 °C to 40 °C in operation and -20 °C to 60 °C in storage, each at 20 % to 90 % relative humidity without condensation. Photobiologically the light is classified in risk group RG1; the safety distance is 0.45 m.

Applications and selection

Spot lights fit when a small field of view needs a lot of light, for example in macro or telecentric imaging in electronics production, micro-assembly or the inspection of small parts. The MV-LDSS-H-8-3 series comes in white, red, blue, green and yellow; choose the light color for contrast against the part, white for color cameras, the single colors for monochrome cameras, with a bandpass filter against ambient light where needed.
