Spot light MV-LDFM-H-20-5-IR850

The MV-LDFM-H-20-5-IR850 spot light from HIKROBOT is a high-brightness spot light in infrared with an 18.5 mm light outlet: at a distance of 100 mm it reaches more than 150 mW/cm². It concentrates the light on a small spot and is designed for long working distances and short exposure times, for example on fast-moving parts, in electronics production or under telecentric lenses.

Technical data

The working distance ranges from 50 mm to 500 mm. The infrared light emits at 850 nm in the near infrared. Power consumption is 5 W, the connection is a 12M-5A connector on a 1 m cable. The cylindrical housing is 75.3 mm long with a diameter of 40 mm and weighs 0.1 kg.

Operating conditions

The permissible range is 0 °C to 40 °C in operation and -20 °C to 80 °C in storage, each at 20 % to 90 % relative humidity without condensation. Photobiologically the light is classified in risk group RG2; the safety distance is 5.40 m.

Applications and selection

High-brightness spot lights fit when a small field of view has to be lit from a greater distance or with a very short exposure time; for microscopy and short distances the MV-LDSS-H series is sufficient. The MV-LDFM-H series comes in white and infrared; white suits color cameras, infrared suits monochrome cameras, with a bandpass filter against ambient light where needed.
