Description
OPT-VCT50/2.8-0.17X is a line scan camera lens from the series “Coloretto Line Scan Lenses” by OPT: focal length 50 mm, aperture F2.8 - F16, image circle Ø44 mm. Also: working distance 632 (0.08 ×) | 328.9 (0.17 ×) | 183.8 (0.33 ×), V38.
The Coloretto series is designed for line scan cameras with 7 µm pixels and image circles up to 30 mm. The achromatic design over 400 to 700 nm keeps the color channels congruent, and the relative distortion stays below 0.6 %. It is used on line scan cameras for web material, print, films and wood - wherever color and geometry have to be right at the same time.
When choosing a lens, what counts is the interplay of sensor size, pixel size, field of view and working distance - the focal length alone says little. If you tell us your camera and inspection task, we check the combination and, if needed, suggest suitable lighting to go with it. The dimensional drawing and the STEP model are included.
