Description
OPT-C5025-5M-LW, a fixed focal length lens for long working distances of the series “5 MP IR Lenses with Long Working Distance” by OPT, comes with focal length 50 mm, aperture F2.5 - F22, sensor up to 2/3". Also: working distance 1000 mm - ∞, C-Mount.
These variants of the 5 MP series are designed for long working distances - depending on the model from 390 mm, 600 mm, 1 m or 5 m to infinity - and corrected for 2/3" sensors with 3.45 µm pixels. Distortion is in the hundredths of a percent range. They are used when the camera has to sit far from the object: above conveyor belts, on gantries, behind protective windows.
When choosing a lens, what counts is the interplay of sensor size, pixel size, field of view and working distance - the focal length alone says little. If you tell us your camera and inspection task, we check the combination and, if needed, suggest suitable lighting to go with it. The dimensional drawing is included.
