Description
With focal length 18 mm, aperture F3.8, image circle Ø17.6 mm (1.1"), OPT-CCD1738 belongs to the series “Crocodile Macro Lenses” by OPT Machine Vision. Further key data: working distance 54.34 mm, C-Mount.
The Crocodile series focuses with a floating lens group instead of the entire lens block. The image thus stays sharp over the whole close-up range from 47 to 412 mm, at up to 145 lp/mm for pixels from 3.45 µm and sensors up to 1.2" (Ø19.3 mm). In many close-range inspections it replaces a telecentric lens: connector pins, adhesive beads, threads, small metal parts.
