Description

The OPT-C3X45-SWIR is listed in OPT's series “SWIR Lenses” with magnification 0.3 × - 1.0 ×, aperture F4.5 - F22, image circle Ø11 mm (2/3"). Also: working distance 87 mm ± 3 %, C-Mount, spectral range 900 - 1700 nm.

The SWIR lenses are designed and coated for the short-wave infrared from 900 to 1700 nm - for InGaAs cameras with a 1" sensor and 5 µm pixels. Optics designed for the visible range lose resolution and contrast in this band; here both are retained. Typical applications are fill level checks through plastic, moisture and sorting tasks, solar cell and semiconductor inspection.

When choosing a lens, what counts is the interplay of sensor size, pixel size, field of view and working distance - the focal length alone says little. If you tell us your camera and inspection task, we check the combination and, if needed, suggest suitable lighting to go with it. The dimensional drawing is included.
