Description
FHDR-Si90A-UV24-365 belongs to the FHDR-90A series by Falcon Illumination. The light emits UV light (365 nm). The manufacturer states a working distance of 50 - 1000 mm. The emitting surface measures Ø 84 mm. The outer dimensions are Ø 100 × 23 mm.
A direct ring light sits around the lens and throws the light steeply down onto the part. The ring of light is therefore on the optical axis: matte surfaces become evenly bright, edges and bores stand out clearly, and little shadow is cast because the light arrives from all directions at once.
The light runs on 24 V and draws 24.00 W, 12 LEDs of package type SMD are fitted, the connection is JST SMR-03V with 540 mm cable and the housing is aluminum.
On specular parts a direct ring light shows the ring itself as a bright reflection in the image. For shiny surfaces a dome or coaxial light is usually the better choice.
