Backlight MV-LBSS-H-300-300-W2

The MV-LBSS-H-300-300-W2 backlight from HIKROBOT is a transmitted-light backlight in white with a 300 mm × 300 mm emitting area. The part sits between light and camera and appears as a silhouette, so contours, holes and dimensions can be checked regardless of surface and color.

Technical data

The emitting area measures 300 mm × 300 mm. At a distance of 100 mm the light reaches an illuminance of at least 60,000 lux at the center. The white light has a color temperature of 6000 K to 7000 K. A diffuser plate is included. Power consumption is 87.9 W, the supply 24 V DC, the connection is a 12M-2A connector on a 1 m cable. The housing measures 338 mm × 315 mm × 21 mm and weighs 2 kg.

Operating conditions

The permissible range is 0 °C to 40 °C in operation and -20 °C to 60 °C in storage, each at 20 % to 90 % relative humidity without condensation. Cooling is passive, without a fan.

Applications and selection

Backlights are the choice for dimensional checks and contour comparison, hole and breakthrough inspection, the presence of transparent parts and fill levels. The emitting area should extend beyond the part on all sides. The MV-LBSS-H series comes with emitting areas from 30 mm × 30 mm to 400 mm × 300 mm in white, red and blue.
