Accessories and cables for machine vision

Cables, brackets, adapters and power supplies decide whether a machine vision setup works reliably in daily operation. Connector type, pin assignment, length, shielding, bending radius and suitability for drag chains have to match the devices in use and the movement in the machine. A mechanically fitting connector is not automatically the electrically correct one.

Check the documented properties against the specific camera, lighting or reader: interface, voltage, current, degree of protection and, for lighting, the type of control. Adapter and extension rings change the flange distance and therefore the imaging; they should be selected together with lens and sensor, not on the thread alone.
