Description
With magnification 0.55 ×, aperture F8.0, image circle Ø18.4 mm (1.1"), OPT-HP055-110C-F8 belongs to the series “Hippo Telecentric” by OPT Machine Vision. Further key data: working distance 110 mm ± 2 mm, C-Mount.
The Hippo series brings telecentric measuring optics to large sensors up to 1.1": high resolution, low distortion and magnifications from 0.3 to 4×. Models with built-in coaxial illumination are available. It is intended for measuring tasks with 12 to 20 megapixel cameras in which a large field is measured in a single image.
When choosing a lens, what counts is the interplay of sensor size, pixel size, field of view and working distance - the focal length alone says little.
