Description
OPT-COBR5056B is a vibration-resistant fixed focal length lens from the series “Cobra Ruggedized” by OPT: focal length 50 mm, aperture F5.6, image circle Ø11 mm (2/3"). Further key data: working distance 400 mm - ∞, C-Mount.
Cobra Ruggedized is the vibration-resistant version of the Cobra series: fixed aperture, bonded lens groups and a housing under Ø26 × 42.6 mm. Shocks and continuous vibration shift neither focus nor optical axis; the resolution stays at up to 200 lp/mm for sensors up to 2/3". Intended for robots, vehicles, presses and anything that vibrates - wherever an adjustable lens would need readjusting after a short time.
When choosing a lens, what counts is the interplay of sensor size, pixel size, field of view and working distance - the focal length alone says little. If you tell us your camera and inspection task, we check the combination and, if needed, suggest suitable lighting to go with it. The dimensional drawing and the STEP model are included.
