Description
OPT-C0420-5M, a fixed focal length lens of the series “5 MP Fixed Focal Length Lenses” by OPT, comes with focal length 4 mm, aperture F2.0 - F16, image circle Ø8 mm (1/2"). Also: working distance 100 mm - ∞, C-Mount.
The 5 MP series is designed for cameras with 3.45 µm pixels and sensors up to 2/3" and resolves up to 140 lp/mm across the entire image field. Distortion is low on all models, and the aperture is manually adjustable and lockable. The series thus covers the majority of inspection tasks with 5 megapixel cameras: dimensional checks, surface and completeness inspection, reading of codes and plain text.
When choosing a lens, what counts is the interplay of sensor size, pixel size, field of view and working distance - the focal length alone says little. If you tell us your camera and inspection task, we check the combination and, if needed, suggest suitable lighting to go with it. The dimensional drawing and the STEP model are included.
