Description
Datalogic lists PM9600-HP910RBK20 under the designation “PowerScan PM9600-HP, High Performance, 910MHz, RS232 Kit (scope of delivery: Scanner PM9600-HP, cradle BC9630-910, cable CAB-548, power supply 8-0935 and power cord 6003-0941)”. The reader decodes Micro QR Code; QR Code; Dot Code Australian Post; British Post; China Post; IMB; Japanese; MicroPDF417; PDF417; UPC A/E Composites. The image sensor resolves 1280 × 800 pixels.
The PowerScan 9600 series is Datalogic's most rugged handheld scanner line. Housing and electronics are designed for harsh environments, and the shape is ergonomically balanced so that the hand does not tire during hours of scanning. The series comes with three optics: Standard Range for ordinary reading distances, High Performance additionally for high-density codes and greater depth of field, and Document Capture with a color sensor and wide field of view for capturing images of entire documents. It is offered as the corded model PD9630, as the Bluetooth variant PBT9600 and as the PM9600 with Datalogic's STAR narrow-band radio.
Connection is via RS-232 / USB / Ethernet and Industrial Protocols, power supply 5 V DC, the housing reaches ingress protection IP67, it measures 19.7 × 14.9 × 7.9 cm and weighs 455 g.
On the cordless models, the radio type determines the range and the base station: Bluetooth for connecting to existing devices, STAR radio for large halls with many reading points.
