Description
Datalogic lists PM9100-DK910RB under the designation “PowerScan PM9100, 910 MHz, Linear Imager, Display/16-Key, RB”.
The PowerScan 9100 series reads 1D codes only, but does so particularly reliably. It works with a green scan line instead of a laser and has no moving parts - which makes it insensitive to shock and vibration. PD9130 is the corded model, PBT9100 the Bluetooth variant, PM9100 the version with Datalogic's STAR narrow-band radio.
Connection is via USB: OEM USB; USB COM; USB HID Keyboard; optional Ethernet (standard, industrial), the housing reaches ingress protection IP65, it measures 21.2 × 11.0 × 7.4 cm and weighs 405 g.
A linear imager does not read 2D codes. If Data Matrix or QR is needed, a model of the 9500 or 9600 series is the right choice. The data sheet and manuals are in the download area.
