The Gryphon 4600 series is the first of its class with consistent eco-design: low power consumption, recycled material in the housing and plastic-free packaging. It reads all common 1D and 2D codes including GS1 Digital Link, digital watermarks and high-resolution dense codes. The HP models work with two sensors and thus cover the near and far range; a dual-core processor and AI-assisted decoding increase tolerance to moving codes. Feedback is provided by a green aiming cross, the Green Spot, the three green lights (3GL) and a vibration signal.
Connection is via CORDED MODELS: GD4620 (HD models): USB type C / USB only GD4690 (HP models): USB type C / USB / RS-232 Multi-Interface, it measures 21 × 7.5 × 10.9 cm and weighs 426 g.
For codes moving on a conveyor, the HP model with dual sensor is worthwhile; for checkout and warehouse workstations with a stationary code, the standard version is sufficient.
