The Gryphon I 4500 series is Datalogic's premium line for general-purpose applications and reads 1D as well as 2D codes. It was the first in the handheld scanner segment to bring contactless charging to the cordless models. GD4500 is the corded desk version, also with a permanently attached charging station, GBT4500 the Bluetooth variant and GM4500 the version with Datalogic's STAR narrow-band radio.

Connection is via CORDED MODELS: GD4520: USB type C / USB only GD4590: USB type C / USB / RS-232 Multi-Interface, the housing reaches ingress protection IP52, it measures 21.0 × 7.5 × 10.9 cm and weighs 374 g.

Contactless charging does away with charging contacts that can get dirty or bend. This requires the matching WLC4500 charging cradle. The data sheet and manuals are in the download area.
