Ring light MV-LRDS-H-180-90-W2

The MV-LRDS-H-180-90-W2 ring light from HIKROBOT is a ring light in white with an outer diameter of 180 mm, a 100 mm bore and a beam angle of 90° as defined by the manufacturer. The lens looks through the bore while the LEDs illuminate the part around the camera axis; depending on angle and working distance this gives low-shadow front lighting or flat, edge-emphasizing illumination.

Technical data

The emitting ring has a diameter of 167 mm. The recommended working distance ranges from 140 mm to 160 mm; at a distance of 100 mm the light reaches an illuminance of at least 37,500 lux at the center. The white light has a color temperature of 6000 K to 7500 K. The LEDs are arranged in 6 rows. A PMMA diffuser plate is built in. Power consumption is 34.3 W, the connection is an SMR-03V-B connector on a 1 m cable. The housing is 18 mm high and weighs 550 g.

Operating conditions

The permissible range is 0 °C to 40 °C in operation and -20 °C to 60 °C in storage, each at 20 % to 90 % relative humidity without condensation.

Applications and selection

Ring lights are the most common form of front lighting: for surface inspection, reading codes and text, presence and position checks of components. The lens has to fit through the bore (100 mm here).
