FLDL-TP-Si200-2C-R-IR24 belongs to the series FLDL-TP-200 by Falcon Illumination. The light emits infrared light (850 nm). The manufacturer specifies the working distance as 5 - 100 mm. The outer dimensions are 226 × 216 × 30 mm.

The high-brightness backlight works on the same principle as the diffuse version but puts considerably more light onto the area. This allows short exposure times on fast-moving parts and operation with a small aperture when a large depth of field is needed.
