Description
FLLN-i300-R24-UPDATE-FOLLOWS belongs to the FLLN-300 series from Falcon Illumination. The light emits red light. The manufacturer states the working distance as 10 - 100 mm. The outer dimension is 330 × 20 × 40 mm.
A line light concentrates the light into a narrow, bright stripe by means of a cylindrical lens. It is the right design for line scan cameras: the entire light output falls on exactly the line being captured instead of spreading over an area. This allows short exposure times even at high web speeds.
The light runs on 24 V and draws 4.80 W, 36 LEDs of the P4 type are fitted, the connection is made via JST SMR-03V with a 300 mm lead, the housing is made of aluminum and the ingress protection is IP 40.
The focus of the light stripe has to lie on the line being captured; the working distance therefore has to be held more closely than with an area light.
