Die Gryphon-4600-Baureihe ist die erste ihrer Klasse mit durchgängigem Ökodesign: geringe Leistungsaufnahme, Recyclingmaterial im Gehäuse und Verpackung ohne Kunststoff. Sie liest alle gängigen 1D- und 2D-Codes einschließlich GS1 Digital Link, digitaler Wasserzeichen und hochauflösender dichter Codes. Die HP-Modelle arbeiten mit zwei Sensoren und decken damit den Nah- und den Fernbereich ab; ein Zweikernprozessor und KI-gestützte Dekodierung erhöhen die Toleranz gegenüber bewegten Codes. Zur Rückmeldung dienen ein grünes Zielkreuz, der Green Spot, die drei grünen Leuchten (3GL) und ein Vibrationssignal.
Die Anbindung erfolgt über MODELLE MIT KABEL: GD4620 (HD-Modelle): Nur USB Typ C / USB GD4690 (HP-Modelle): USB Typ C / USB / RS-232 Multi-Schnittstelle, es misst 21 × 7,5 × 10,9 cm und wiegt 426 g.
Für Codes, die sich am Band bewegen, lohnt sich das HP-Modell mit Doppelsensor; für Kassen- und Lagerarbeitsplätze mit ruhigem Code genügt die Standardausführung.
